MOLALLA, ORE. – Bryce Wortman (Klamath Falls, Ore.) took medalist honors, while Victoria Gailey (Tigard, Ore.) won the Girls Open Division at the 2015 Central Willamette Junior, held July 6th at Willamette Valley Country Club in Canby, Ore. and July 7th at Arrowhead Golf Club in Molalla, Ore.

Wortman, this year’s Oregon Junior Amateur champion in the Juniors Division, fired a two-day total of 135 (68-67, -8) to win the Boys Open Division. Reese Fisher (Medford, Ore.) was close behind, also finishing under par with scores of 69-69 – 138 (-5). Spencer Tibbits (Vancouver, Wash.), who won last week’s Boys Division title at the Oregon Junior Stroke Play, finished third after firing 70-71 – 141 (-2).

Gailey was three shots back going into Tuesday’s second round, but came back after a 79 on Monday to shoot an impressive 72 (+1) at Arrowhead, combining for a 151 (+8) total for the tournament. She won by one shot over Camden Decker (Keizer, Ore.), who shot scores of 77-75 – 152 (+9). The first round leader, Camille Dozois (Lake Oswego, Ore.), earned third place after a two-day total of 76-78 – 154 (+11).

In the Junior Boys Division, Hayden Meeker (Camas, Wash.) earned the title after firing scores of 73-75 – 148 (+5). Zachary Peros (Vancouver, Wash.) finished in second place with a two-day total of 79-77 – 156. The Girls Division title went to Katie Marie Williams (West Linn, Ore.), who completed the two-day event with scores of 81-78 – 159 (+16). Mary Jane Anderson (Lake Oswego, Ore.) earned second place, shooting 94-87 – 181.

In the Boys Division, Joseph Brundan (Eugene, Ore.) finished at even-par for the tournament, shooting 69-74 – 143 (E). Samir Dutta (Portland, Ore.) and Reece Boyce (Camas, Wash.) tied for second place at 151 (+8).

Quincy Beyrouty (Salem, Ore.) won the Intermediate Girls Division, coming from six shots back to win by one after rounds of 87-79 – 166 (+23). Olivia Venderby (West Linn, Ore.) earned second place with scores of 81-86 – 167. In the Intermediate Boys Division, Isaac Buerger (Redmond, Ore.) shot scores of 72-74 – 146 (+3) to win by four shots over Brandon Eyre (Salem, Ore.) and Danny Hext (Portland, Ore.).

Graham Moody (Vancouver, Wash.) finished at an impressive 2-over par (38-34 – 72) over two days to win the PeeWee Boys 10-11 Division, with Arthur Venderby (West Linn, Ore.) earning second place after scores of 40-36 – 76 (+6). Spencer Moody (Vancouver, Wash.) won the PeeWee Boys 8-9 Division after scores of 61-49 – 110.

Jade Gruher (Camas, Wash.) earned first place in the Pee Wee Girls 10-11 Division, shooting 46-41 – 87 (+16) over two days, while Annika Yeh (Vancouver, Wash.) and Emily Song (Beaverton, Ore.) tied for second place at 96 over two days. Natalie Yen (West Linn, Ore.) won the Pee Wee Girls 8-9 Division with scores of 55-46 – 101.
