First Round of 2015 Centennial Junior Complete
Medford, OR -- The first round of the 2015 Centennial Junior Championship has concluded at Centennial Golf Club.
On the Boys’ side:
In the Boys Open 14-17 Division, five players came in under par. Benjamin Gruher and Jack Rodewald both shot 70 (-2) while Craig Ronne, Ben Stickney and Jeremy Wu all came in at 71 (-1).
In the Junior Boys 16-17 Division, Max Dobak leads with an 81 (+9) while Reese Lam trails only by two with an 83 (+11).
The Boys 14-15 Division is led by Samuel Pyon with a 69 (-3) while Dylan Adams trails by three with a 72 ( E ).
The low scorer for the day was Scotty Kennon with a 67 (-5) in the Intermediate Boys 12-13 Division. He is closely trailed by Isaac Bueger, who shot a 71 (-1).
On the Girls’ side:
The Girls Open 12-17 Division is led by Camille Dozois and Ellie Slama, each posting scores of 70 (-2), while Taylor Hartley and Ellen Secor each posting a score of 71 (-1).
The Girls 15-17 Division is led by Alisa Kobayashi with an 88 (+16) with Kirsten Reed posting a 94 (+22) to follow in 2nd.
Olivia Vanderby leads the Intermediate Girls 12-14 Division with an 80 (+8), while Kaylee Wu trails by only three with an 83 (+11).
With temperatures reaching 96ºF, EVERYONE BEAT THE HEAT!!!!
