Former OGA Champions Highlight Oregon Representation at 2018 U.S. Women's Four-Ball

TARZANA, CALIF. – Four Oregon residents and OGA competitors will compete in the upcoming 2018 U.S. Women’s Amateur Four-Ball Championship, taking place April 27-May 2 at El Caballero Country Club in Tarzana, Calif.

Reigning Oregon Women’s Amateur champion Gigi Stoll (Tigard, Ore.), who also won the event in 2014 and 2015, will be competing with University of Arizona teammate Haley Moore. Stoll is a current junior for the Wildcats. Past Oregon Women’s Amateur winner Krissy Peterson (Canby, Ore.), who won in 2016, will be playing alongside former college teammate Hannah Swanson (Forest Grove, Ore.). Swanson, a senior at Portland State University, played her first three years at Oregon State.

Ellen Secor (Portland, Ore.), a sophomore at Colorado State University, will be playing in her second-straight U.S. Women’s Four-Ball Championship. Last year, her and fellow Rams golfer Katrina Prendergrast advanced to the round of 16. The two will once again team up in this year’s event. Secor highlighted her 2017 OGA season by earning medalist honors at the Oregon Women’s Amateur Championship.
