2018 Drive Chip Putt Local Qualifier Results - OGA Golf Course

WOODBURN, Ore. - Over 160 youth golfers (ages 7-15) competed in a local qualifying of the Drive, Chip, Putt at the OGA Golf Course with the ultimate prize being a trip to Augusta National Golf Club.  At the end of the day only 24 golfers earned a birth into the Sub-Regional on August 15th at Meriwether National Golf Club.

The Pacific Northwest will host 13 local qualifying sites, which will be narrowed down to three Sub-Regional qualifying sites.  Youth golfers fortunate enough to make it through Sub-Regionals will compete at the Regional Qualifiers on September 9th at Chambers Bay in University Place, Wash.  Chambers Bay, host of the 2015 U.S. Open, is the final stop before earning a birth to Augusta National Golf Club for the Drive, Chip, Putt Finals.

In 2017, Elise Deschaine (Portland, Ore.) and Cassie Kennon (Bandon, Ore.) were the only two Oregon golfers to earn the honor of participating at the Finals at Augusta National, which is covered Live on the Golf Channel.
