Stember Qualifies for Match Play at the US Jr. Amateur.
PLAY IS CURRENTLY SUSPENDED DUE TO WEATHER IN SPRINGFIELD, N.J.
Nate Stember (Portland, Ore.) recorded rounds of 72-72--144 (+3) and currently sits at T31st at the 2018 U.S. Junior Amateur at Baltustrol Golf Club in Springfield, N.J. Youth golfers qualified from various locations around the United States are attempting to finish in the top-64 following the first 36-holes in order to qualify for the match play portion of the tournament. The first two rounds are split between Baltustrol’s Upper & Lower Golf Course.
Graham Moody (Vancouver, WA) also qualified for the U.S. Jr. Amateur and currently sits at a T71st following rounds of 74-75—149 (+8). Although he is complete with his 36-holes, there is still a chance Moody qualifies for the top-64 if other golfers in front of him fall back. He sits only 1-shot off the cut line, which currently sits at +7.
Final matches will be aired on July 20-21 on FS1.
