Oregon Senior Amateur Runs June 25-28 at Rock Creek Country Club
The Oregon Golf Association will continue its championship schedule this week with the playing of the 36th Oregon Senior Men’s Championship. The event, slated for June 25-28, will be played this year at Rock Creek Country Club.

Entries were open to male amateur golfers with USGA Handicap Indexes™ of 18.1 and less. It is an event for players who, as of June 25, are 50 years of age or older.
Defending champion Randy Mahar (Portland) will be joined by the best 31 finishers of Tuesday’s 18-hole stroke play qualifier in a 32-player single-elimination match play portion of the competition.
Bob Harrington, Pat O’Donnell, Scott Hval and Brad Skreen are other former champions of the event competing this week.
The schedule of play is as follows:
- June 25: 18-Hole Qualifying Round
- June 26: Round 1 of Match Play (Morning) ; Round 2 of Match Play (Afternoon)
- June 27: Quarterfinals (Morning); Semifinals (Afternoon)
- June 28: 18-Hole Final Matches
