Brandon Eyre posted a 4-under par 68 and Mary Scott Wolfe shot a 1-under 71 en route to boy’s and girl’s division titles at the Tournament of Major Champions played Sept. 28 at OGA Golf Course in Woodburn.

It was an invitation-only event made up of division winners from 2019 Oregon Junior Golf Major Tournaments.

Eyre, from Salem, registered a pair of birdies on the front nine and followed that with three more on the back to claim a three-stroke victory. Graham Moody finished second a 1-under par.

Wolfe, from Beaverton, dropped in six birdies – offset by five bogeys – for a convincing eight-stroke win. Yvonne Vinceri finished second a 7-over par.

The event was the final Oregon Junior Golf Major Tournament on the 2019 calendar.
