Oswego Lake Country Club Wins 2020 OGA Team Championship
Oswego Lake Country Club fired an 11-under par 207 to run away with the 2020 OGA Team Championship played Aug. 29-30 at Sunriver Resort.
Team Championship (Aug. 29-30):
The 36-hole competition included teams of four players representing 28 different OGA Member Clubs; each team took the best three scores Saturday and Sunday.
The OLCC roster, which included Landon Banks (E), Trevor Harding (-6), Travis Milleman (+2) and Ray Richards (-3), teamed up to win the event by seven strokes. Riverside Golf & Country Club (-4) and Heron Lakes Golf Club (-2) finished second and third respectively.
Harding and Richards led the way for OLCC, with Harding tying for first with Dan Snoey (-6) of RGCC for low individual score for the event.
Joining Snoey on Riverside’s roster was Austin Spicer (+2), Jake Wagner (+6) and Matt Hartley (+7).
Heron Lakes’ roster included Chris Dukeminier (-1), Jack Dukeminier (E), Philip Bagdade (-1) and Jeff Gustafson (+12).
The OGA Championships schedule has two competitions remaining in 2020 – the 36th Oregon Net Championship and the 32nd Oregon Mid-Amateur Championships. The Net Championship is slated for Sept. 19-20 at McNary Golf Club in Keizer, while the Mid-Amateur will be played Sept. 26-27 at OGA Golf Course in Woodburn.
