Eligibility
Entries are open to Grandparent, Parent and Child (including in-laws) teams, at least one of whom must be an amateur in good standing of an OGA Member Club.
Format
18-hole modified Chapman stroke play. Each player plays a shot from the teeing area and each plays their partner’s ball for the second shot. After the second shot, partners select the ball with which they wish to score, and play that ball alternately to complete the hole. Note: On a par three players will not play their partners ball. Instead partners select the ball with which they wish to score, and play that ball alternately to complete the hole. Each team plays either Saturday or Sunday.

$120.00 per team entry fee must accompany entry form and will include:
- One round of competitive golf
- Framed team picture
- Special awards from Jones Sports Co. will be awarded to the overall Champions
Refunds are not available after the closing deadline of June 30th, except for documented medical reasons. All refunds are subject to a $20.00 administrative fee.
Deadline Details
Entry forms and fees must reach the OGA office by 5pm on the deadline of June 30th. Entries by telephone, fax, or email must accompany payment and must be received by 5pm of the deadline. Online entries are accepted until midnight. Late entries will be accepted and placed on an alternate's list to fill spots if they become available up until a time that the OGA Staff establishes. Late entries will not be accepted unless they are accompanied by the correct entry fee, plus an additional fee of $25. Contestants must contact the OGA in order to submit a late entry.
Handicap
Team handicaps are calculated using 60% of the low handicap plus 40% of the higher handicap and is applied at the end of the round. Players without an established handicap will be assigned one based upon the average score listed. Course Handicaps will be based on the June 30th Handicap Index.
Pairings
Please be aware that the OGA will make every effort to give each team their preferred starting time, but due to the amount of teams in the field as well as the time requested, you are not guaranteed a morning or afternoon starting time. Please make your arrangements accordingly.
Practice Round Details
Players may call the pro shop, 503-363-6652 at any time to make arrangements. Contestants will be responsible for the current seasonal green fee rate.

OGA Net Performance Points Adjustment (KTPS)
The OGA Tournament Committee has instituted a policy by which they reserve the right to adjust the Playing Handicap of any competitor in future competitions. This Policy is based on a modification of the Knuth Tournament Performance Points System (KTPS) as licensed from Dean Knuth.
A reduction of a competitor’s Playing Handicap will be based on the following criteria:
High finishes in any Net portion of a 36 hole OGA championship with 81 participants or more in a division during a two year period will be awarded points accordingly: 1st = 12, 2nd = 10, 3rd = 8, 4th = 6, 5th = 4.
High finishes in any Net portion of a 36 hole OGA championship with 40 - 80 participants in a division during a two year period will be awarded points accordingly: 1st = 8, 2nd = 6, 3rd = 4, 4th = 2.
High finishes in any Net portion of a 36 hole OGA championship with 20 - 39 participants in a division during a two year period will be awarded points accordingly: 1st = 6, 2nd = 4, 3rd = 2.
High finishes in any Net portion of a 36 hole OGA championship with 1 - 19 participants in a division during a two year period will be awarded points accordingly: 1st = 4, 2nd = 2.
High finishes in any Net portion of an 18 hole OGA competition (OGA Tour – Individual Series) during a one year period will be awarded points accordingly: 1st = 3, 2nd = 2, 3rd = 1.
High finishes in any Net portion of an 18 hole OGA competition (OGA Tour – Partner Series) during a one year period will be awarded points accordingly: 1 – 9 teams 1st = 3, 10 – 19 teams 1st = 3, 2nd = 2, and 20+ teams 1st = 3, 2nd = 2, 3rd = 1.
Any contestant who accumulates 17 points over the stated period may have their Playing Handicap reduced by 1 stroke for use during the competition.
Any contestant who accumulates more than 17 points during the stated period will have their Playing Handicap reduced an additional 1 stroke for each additional two points accumulated.
