OGA to Administer a Trio of Upcoming USGA Qualifiers
The Oregon Golf Association will administer three USGA qualifying competitions over the course of two days. All three events will be played at OGA Golf Course in Woodburn.
The U.S. Amateur Sectional Qualifier is set for Monday, July 22 with 72 players competing for two spots in the U.S. Amateur Championship set for Aug. 12-18 at Pinehurst Resort & Country Club in Pinehurst, N.C.
Both the senior men and senior women will play their qualifying on Tuesday, July 23.
On the senior men’s side, there are 46 registrants who will compete for two spots into the U.S. Senior Amateur Championship played this year Aug. 25-29 at Old Chatham Golf Club in Durham, N.C.
The women’s side includes 13 competitors who will battle for three spots into the U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur Championship set for Aug. 25-29 at Cedar Rapids Country Club in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
