OGA Announces 2022 Championships Schedule
The Oregon Golf Association recently finalized its 2022 championship schedule which offers a variety of team, four-ball, net, stroke- and match-play formats. Registration begins Friday, Feb. 25.
The schedule spans from April to October with all 13 OGA Championships joining the annual PNGA Cup Team Matches and Hudson Cup on the docket.

The marquee event, the 113th Oregon Amateur Championship, is scheduled for June 20-25 and will be played at Willamette Valley Country Club in Canby. Three qualifiers have been scheduled for the Oregon Am men’s division, with all three occurring in June and set to be played at Quail Valley GC (June 4), Stone Creek GC (June 8) and Tokatee GC (June 11).
This year marks the fifth time the event will be held at Willamette Valley CC, which hosted the Oregon Am in 1971, 1985, 1998 and most recently in 2010.
The OGA's season-opening event is the 34th Oregon Mid-Amateur Championship set for April 30-May 1 at Riverside Golf and Country Club in Portland. That two-day competition includes a pair of qualifiers on the men's side, April 10 and 12, both to be played at OGA Golf Course in Woodburn.
The 38th Oregon Senior Men’s Amateur Championship is slated for Sept. 6-9 at Aspen Lakes Golf Course in Sisters. The 39th Oregon Senior Women's Amateur Championship will be played in June during the week of the 113th Oregon Amateur Championship at Willamette Valley CC.
Another marquee event on the calendar is the 70th Oregon Men’s Stroke Play Championship scheduled for Aug. 5-7 at OGA Golf Course. That three-day competition routinely attracts the top golfers in the region.
Creswell's Emerald Valley Golf Club will be the site of the 32nd Oregon Women’s Stroke Play which will be played Aug. 15-18. The 17th Oregon Super Senior Championship, featuring both men's and women's divisions, will simultaneously occur at Emerald Valley GC on those dates.

Other noteworthy competitions include the 77th playing of the OGA Tournament of Champions which will be held May 21-22 at Creekside Golf Club in Salem.
Back again for 2022 are the Public Links, Parent/Child Chapman, Four-Ball and Men's Team Championship.
