The quarterfinals for the 112th Oregon Amateur Championship and the semifinal round for the 38th Oregon Senior Women’s Amateur Championship are set to be played Friday at Bandon Trails Golf Course in Bandon, Ore.

112th Oregon Amateur (July 5-10):

The women’s quarters are headlined by two-time champion and top seed Ellie Slama, and last year’s champion Amanda Jacobs, the third-seed, who both cruised through the first two rounds of match play.

The women’s field will play both the quarterfinal and semifinal rounds on Friday, setting up a 36-hole match play final Saturday morning.

In the senior women’s competition, top-seed Anita Rosemeyer and No. 2 seed Lara Tennant both advanced to the semifinal round. Rosemeyer will face Ginny Burkey in the first semi, while Tennant will take on Cappy Mack in the second.

The men’s side played both the Round of 32 and the Round of 16 on Thursday. The top seed on the men’s side, Nate Stember, defeated defending champ Bryce Wortman in the round of 16, setting up a match with No. 8 seed and UO college teammate Craig Ronne in the quarterfinals.

Bob Harrington, the No. 19 seed, continues his hot play upending No. 3 seed Nicholas Watts Thursday afternoon. The 68-year old Harrington moves on to face No. 6 Brandon Eyre, who defeated Rajvir Bedi in the late match of the day.

The men’s side will play both the quarterfinal and semifinal rounds on Friday.

The championship matches for all three divisions will take place Saturday. The senior women’s division will play an 18-hole title match.
