In the Juniors Division, the Championship match will be between Cole Madey (West Linn, Ore.) and Riley Elmes (Lake Oswego, Ore.). Their match will begin on the first hole at 10:50 AM.
“We are extremely excited for the Championship matches tomorrow morning,” said Robyn Lorain, Director of Oregon Junior Golf. “All players competing on Friday are deserving of their success this week, and tomorrow will be a fantastic end to a wonderful championship at Waverley Country Club.”
Thursday was the first day of the tournament where rain played a significant part during the majority of the day. The course handled the rain well, and the greens were still fast, which only increased the difficulty when factoring in the tough pin placements.
