Rietman, Baum Lead Respective Divisions After First Day of 32nd Oregon Net Championship
CAMAS, WASH. - Alec Rietman (Portland, Ore.) and Sharon Baum (Albany, Ore.) lead their respective divisions after the first round of
the 2016 Oregon Net Championship, held this weekend at Camas Meadows Golf Club in Camas, Wash.
Rietman leads the men's field after firing a net round of 63 (-9) on Saturday. Thomas Waters (Adams, Ore.) is one shot back at 8-under par, while Dennis Corning (Woodburn, Ore.) is in third place at the midway point at 7-under par net.
Two-thousand fourteen champion Mike Foister (Vancouver, Wash.) is in fourth place at 6-under par, while last year's men's winner, Gene Chambers (Aloha, Ore.) is in a tie for fifth at 5-under par.
In the women's field, Baum leads after one round after shooting a 1-under par 70 net on Saturday. Jeanne Lisak (Boring, Ore.) is in second at even-par, while 2013 champion Victoria Olheiser (Salem, Ore.) is in third at 2-over par.
The second and final round of this year's Oregon Net Championship takes place Sunday, Sept. 25th.
