Registration Open for 2020 OGA Championships

The Oregon Golf Association recently finalized its 2020 championship schedule which offers a variety of team, four-ball, net, stroke- and match-play formats. Registration is open to all OGA Members.

OGA Championships:

The marquee event is June 22-27 with the 111th playing of the Oregon Amateur Championship. This year’s six-day competition is at Columbia Edgewater Country Club, marking the ninth time that esteemed private facility will be hosting the state’s top amateur championship. The men’s, women’s and senior women’s championship will be played at the same facility during that week.

Three qualifiers have been scheduled for the men’s division, with all three occurring in early June and set to be played at the Heron Lakes Golf Club (June 6), Stone Creek Golf Club (June 9) and Tokatee Golf Club (June 13).

The last time the Oregon Amateur Championship was played at Columbia Edgewater CC was 2007 when Adam Hagen and Kristen Svicarovich earned titles. Last year, at Portland Golf Club, Spencer Tibbitts, Ellie Slama and Lara Tennant were crowned state champions.

The 37th Oregon Senior Men’s Amateur Championship returns to Central Oregon and will be played Sept. 1-4 at Broken Top Club in Bend. Pat O'Donnell is the defending champion.

The 68th Oregon Men’s Stroke Play Championship is set for July 24-26 at Salishan Golf Links in Gleneden Beach. A year ago the competition was played at Eagle Crest Resort where Kyosuke Hara won the Men's Division for the second consecutive year.

Riverside Golf & Country Club will be the site of the 30th Oregon Women’s Stroke Play which is scheduled for June 29-30. Isabelle Taylor and Loree McKay took home titles at the 2019 event played at Michelbook Country Club in McMinnville. The 15th Oregon Super Senior Championship will simultaneously occur at Riverside Golf & Country Club on those dates.

The 76th playing of the OGA Tournament of Champions will be held May 30-31 at Eagle Crest Resort in Redmond. Nate Blauer, Suzana Cook joined O'Donnell in winning titles at last year’s OGA Tournament of Champions.
