Second Day of Oregon Junior Amateur Finished; All Division Play Match Play Beginning Wednesday
Day two of the 84th Bob Norquist Oregon Junior Amateur Championship finished up on Tuesday, June 24 at Waverley Country Club in Portland, Ore.
Four divisions completed stroke play qualifying on Tuesday (Intermediate Boys, Intermediate Girls, Pee Wee Boys, Pee Wee Girls). Three other divisions (Juniors, Boys, Girls) began match play today. All divisions now play match play leading up to the championship matches, which will be held on Friday, June 27th.
The weather on Tuesday held up beautifully, with partly cloudy skies throughout the day and temperatures ranging from the low- to mid-70s.
