Tennant to Compete in 2019 R&A Womens Senior Amateur Championship
Lara Tennant will compete in the 2019 R&A Womens Senior Amateur Championship Sept. 18-20 at Royal St. David’s Golf club in Harlech, North Wales.
Tennant, who recently won her second consecutive U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur, is one of 11 U.S. players competing this week.
Tennant, an OGA Member by way of Waverley Country Club in Portland, is set to begin play on Wednesday at 9:36am (BST). She will be joined in the group by Ann Lewis of Wales and Alison Taylor of Ireland.
The R&A Womens Senior Am is a 54-hole stroke play competition. After 36 holes, the players returning the 40 lowest scores and any tying for 40th place qualify for the final 18 holes.
