Hans Reimers, Jesse Heinly and Brandon Baumgarten qualify for the 2014 US Amateur Championship on the 7,166 par 72, Emerald Valley Golf Course in Creswell Ore. Hans Reimers earned medalist with a score of 142, the only player to finish under par for the qualifier.

He started the second round trailing Baumgarten by six strokes. Reimer's’ bogey-free second round score of 68 would match Baumgarten’s first round score as low round of the day. These were two of only four under par rounds that were posted all day, three of which came in the afternoon round.

Dylan Wu, James Beale and David Fink finished at 145 would have to playoff to decide the two alternate positions. The alternate positions would be decided on the 4th playoff hole where James Beale made a par and David Fink made a bogey.

This years’ U.S. Amateur Championship will be held at the Atlanta Athletic Club (Highlands Course) Johns Creek, Georgia, August 11 – 17.
