U.S. Mid-Am Qualifiers Set for Aug. 13 at Creekside
The Oregon Golf Association will administer a pair of U.S. Mid-Amateur Qualifiers on Tuesday, Aug. 13 at Creekside Golf Club in Salem.
These 18-hole USGA local competitions are part of dozens of mid-am qualifiers held throughout nation – 33 scheduled for the women’s competition and an additional 65 nationwide for the men.

In the women's local qualifier there are three players competing for one spot in the U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur Championship is scheduled for Sept. 16-19 at Forest Highlands Golf Club in Flagstaff, Ariz.
The men’s qualifier features 58 golfers competing for just three spots in the national championship proper. The U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship will be played Sept. 16-19 at Colorado Golf Club in Parker, Colo.
Creekside GC will play 5,862 yards with an OGA Course Rating of 74.9 and a slope rating of 139 for the women’s qualifier. The men’s competition will play 6,758 yards with a course rating of 73.3 and a slope rating of 138.
After the two mid-am qualifiers in August, the only local USGA qualifiers remaining in 2019 are for the U.S. Amateur Four-Ball and U.S. Women’s Amateur Four-Ball. Those are both set for Oct. 14 at Willamette Valley Country Club in Canby.
