Winners Crowned at 89th Oregon Junior Amateur Championship

Mary Scott Wolfe and Nicholas Watts were crowned champions of the 89th Bob Norquist Oregon Junior Amateur held June 24-28 at Oswego Lake Country Club.

Wolfe, from Beaverton, registered wins over Tannica Porter (6&5), Yvonne Vinceri (5&4), Olivia Venderby (1 up) on her way to the final. She defeated Alexa Udom (4&3) on Friday to win the Girls 15-18 Championship.

Watts, from Springfield, recorded wins over Andrew Barker (8&6), Mateo Fuenmayor (2&1), Brody Marconi (5&4), Naoki Easterday (19 holes) en route to Friday’s Boys 16-18 Championship Flight Final, which Watts won over Owen Huntington (5&4).
